Meet Ada + Nik, the menswear label who's A/W14 collection 'The Dark Wolf' has left me in complete awe. It is common knowledge that black is a beacon of sophistication and class, despite the tired out phrase there will never be a 'new black' no matter how hard a label will try and persuade you otherwise. Which might lead one to wonder, how does black on black still manage to look new and refreshing when its been done so many times before? The answer to that question is with the help of the creative genius behind Ada + Nik.
Their A/W14 collection is to die for, the geometric shapes created by the use of different fabrics look stunning amidst the masculine silhouettes and the wire beanies topping off some of the looks are gorgeous. The thing I've found with this collection is that I actually want to and would wear every single piece as well as simply just appreciating the beauty of the garments. Finding the perfect balance between being runway worthy but also reaming wearable has been proven to be extremely difficult but Ada + Nik's latest offering is a prime example of that when this balance is found it really is a beautiful thing to see.

Timeless and unapologetically chic', the combination of black and white within fashion is one that will never not be in. This time last year I was in awe of the bold chequered prints of Louis Vuitton's S/S13 collection, this year its Milly that has me once again head over heels for this classic colour combination. The use of mesh and the flashes of neon give the garments a sporty feel, whilst the cuts of some pieces showcase beautiful feminine silhouettes. I never really thought much of Lacoste when it comes to them a serious fashion label, I must say I quite wrongly thought of them as a merely sports-wear brand. However much to my surprise Ive found myself drooling over some of the pieces in their S/S14 collection, the simple robust cut of the menswear is impeccable and there is a white sheer women's suit that is to die for. The very minimalistic look of the garments is extremely refreshing to see, take a look at my favourite looks here.
